President, Dave Zeemont called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.

Present were: President, Dave Zeemont; Secretary, Debbie McAllen; Treasurer, Robert Crowley; and Director at Large, Dave Wright. Also present were Design Control Chair, William Webber; and Landscaping Chair, Carrie Gaddy.

Neighbors included Jan Thune, Barb Trent and Jim Matchin

 

Minutes: President Zeemont called for approval of the Board Minutes of October 10, 2016. Dave Wright motioned to accept the minutes as presented and Treasurer, Robert Crowley seconded the motion. All were in favor.

 

Treasurer's Report: Treasurer, Robert Crowley, presented the Treasurer's Report (see attached). Dave Wright motioned to accept the Treasurer report as presented. Debbie McAllen seconded the motion. All were in favor.

The Board approved the Treasurer's Report.

 

Design Control: Design Control Chair, William Webber stated nothing new to report.

Gates: Gates Chair, Dave Wright reported they are still attempting to work on the antenna off of Anthem. No other gate problems to report.

Landscaping: Landscaping Chair, Carrie Gaddy reported she was waiting to plant two more agave cacti, Kelly and Reece Dickson will be finishing spreading the rocks around the five remaining cul-de-sac islands, Al Shawala and Bob Crowley are attempting to fix the fountain, will be putting new drip lines and rock on Anthem by the key pad and placing rock at the Barcelona entrance. As far as the status of the water pipeline, the pipe has been put in, Kelly Dickson will be re-rocking by the mailboxes and the plants that were removed have been replaced.

Drainage: Erosion Control Chair, Robert Crowley stated due to the last storm we needed to clean streets and fix some drainage. Two areas were affected. Up by Goldeneye and Constitution and the north end of Titania. Bob was able to hire help in cleaning those areas for $450.00. The amount was so low because Kelly Dickson donated his time and use of his equipment.

 

At our general meeting in January we will be voting for two-year terms for Secretary and for Director at Large. Secretary, Steve Bailey stepped down at the end of September and Larry Felhauer has chosen not to run for re-election at the end of his term. The cut off date for nominations through this email address will be December 30th; otherwise we won't be able to prepare the ballots. So far, the Nomination Committee has selected Debbie McAllen for Secretary and Ginger Dickson, for Director at Large.

 

The next meeting of the Board will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. at 1236 Regency Court. All are welcome; however, always check with the Secretary to make sure the meeting date has not been changed due to schedule conflicts.

 

The General Annual meeting is scheduled for January 24th at Picacho Country Club at 6:00 p.m.

*** BarbaraRose Farber informed me that her dog Sweeti was apparently killed by a Mountain Lion on Thursday. She asked me to remind and alert you to not let your pets be alone outside for any great length of time.
