Don’t forget! Our annual General Membership Meeting will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 6 pm at the Country Club.

Meeting was called to order at 4:30 pm.

Present were Dave Zeemont, President; Steve Bailey, Secretary; Bob Crowley, Treasurer; Larry Felhauer and Dave Wright, Directors at Large. Also present were William Webber, Design Control Chair, and Carrie Gaddy, Landscaping Chair.

Minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

Bob Crowley, Treasurer, presented the financial report (attached.) Bob also noted that the last member finally paid the 2015 assessment.

Responding to complaints from neighbors, the Board approved a letter already written to be presented to the offending party. The member will have 30 days to rectify the violations of the CC&Rs or face fines of $200 per occurrence. Dave Zeemont will deliver the letter personally.

Dave Wright, Gates Chair, reported that the Barcelona Gate motors had finally given out and had been repaired. A discussion took place regarding the bill and the language of our contract with Apex. It was finally decided that Dave Wright and Bob Crowley would meet with Apex to discuss/clarify an item in the contract that states that we would only be billed for parts and not labor. They had sent a bill for parts and labor.

Dave Wright also reported that the new SOS emergency software and equipment had been installed and tested. Dave noted that the system worked well and took a shorter time (of siren sound) to open the gate. Larry Felhauer stated that signs describing how to operate the emergency system have been made and will be installed soon. The signs will state the time of siren needed and also instructs how to enter the emergency code. Of course, the code itself will not be on the sign.
