June 10, 2013 Board Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm. Present were Dave Zeemont, President; Steve Bailey, Secretary; Bob Crowley, Treasurer; Larry Felhauer and Dave Wright, Directors at Large. Also present was William Webber, Design Control Chair; Carrie Gaddy, Landscaping Chair; and Maxine Webber.
Minutes from previous meeting were approved.
Bob Crowley presented the Treasurer's report (attached) which was accepted by the Board. There were a few lots that assessments were still due; however, the number is about normal for this time of year. Letters and phone calls will go out before liens are placed on delinquent properties.
A discussion was held regarding the solar panels that are in violation of the CC&Rs. A time limit will be imposed by the Design Control Committee Chair in which progress must be met or the Board will take action.
A letter has been sent regarding the habitual parking of an RV.
A Board policy was adopted that stated that replies to emails (usually via the Secretary) should be sent to all Board members for their input.
Dave Wright, Gates Chair, reported that all was working well.
William Webber, Design Control Chair, reported that new construction on Lot 98 was proceeding and was within the plan limits.
Neighbor Alan Shawala has volunteered to be the "person to call" regarding leaks of the drip system on Association islands and landscaping areas. His number to report a leak is 575-639-3484.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, July 8th at 6:30 pm at 1236 Regency Court. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8 pm.
