June 4, 2012 Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm.

Present were: Dave Zeemont, President; Steve Bailey, Secretary; Bob Crowley, Treasurer; Larry Felhauer and Kathy Mayer, Directors at Large.

Also present were: Dave Wright, Gates Chair; Barbara Rose Farber, Landscaping Chair; Carrie Gaddy, Landscaping.

The Board welcomed Carrie Gaddy as a new member of the Landscaping Committee.

Minutes of previous meeting were approved.

Bob Crowley gave the Treasurer's Report (see attached.) Bob reported that 16 lot owners had not paid the 2012 assessment fees. He has sent out letters of reminder to those who have not paid. If not paid by June 30, 2012, liens will be filed on the property (s). The County has increased the cost of filing ($27.00) and of releasing ($27.00) liens. These charges, in addition to any late fees, will be charged to the delinquent lot owners.

Bob mentioned that there was no new report from the Erosion Control Committee.

Larry Felhauer stated that the road resealing/repair project was moving along. Fate intervened and gave us some much needed rain at the same time some of the work was being done, causing them to have to redo some of the work, as well as increasing the amount of cleanup required. All of the sealant is down now and most of the cleaning done. Road repairs remain to be done. Larry wanted to thank everyone for their cooperation in working around the rain-delayed work.

Dave Wright reported that the gates were working fine, the SOS system was tested and working, and the back-up batteries were all working well. Some of the lights at the Coronado Ridge sign were vandalized and replacement has been scheduled. Dave also asked that the grass at the Barcelona Gate which is between the light and sign be moved to the side. This request had been made to the landscaper earlier but he just cut the grass back instead of moving it.

Barbara Rose Farber, Landscaping Chair, reported that she was doing interviews with landscapers again. Some never show up again after the first meeting, which makes it difficult to recruit a company. She had another one scheduled and Steve Bailey gave her a bid from one company to consider. Dave Zeemont agreed to call Carlos to remove some dead/dying trees from the first island inside the Anthem gate and to get it ready for new plantings. Also, Carlos will bring some boulders to help block ATVers driving through the upper end of Constitution again.

Kathy Mayer announced that she would like to step down as Welcome Hostess for CR. After four years, she wants a break. If anyone would like to volunteer as a Welcome Host/Hostess, please let me know and I will forward your name to Kathy. Generally, all that is involved is to keep track of new arrivals to CR and meet with them and explain what CR is all about. The Host/Hostess can let newcomers know who they can call for help or questions. Some residents donate some small items to be included in a welcoming package.

The next meeting will be held Monday, July 9th at 6:30 pm at 1236 Regency Court.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Steve Bailey

CRNA Secretary
